Currently: in Barcelona, Spain.
On tuesdays I have an 8 o’clock. ESADE’s business campus is outside of Barcelona, making the commute extremely long. This means I have to wake up by 6. Take a shower, eat breakfast and get ready. Head out by 7 to catch a train to San Cugat. walk 10 minutes, train for 30, and finally another 15 minute walk to campus.
Every morning I can’t help but complain about the commute. But this morning it felt different, it felt great. It wasn’t too cold and I was listening to “Lead Me to the Cross” right when the sun starting peaking through.
God, thank you. I truly am blessed.

Big J’s Diner.
Seriously, this meal was much needed. I was sick for what felt like eternity. I stayed in the entire weekend and hardly moved out of my bed. Being abroad and being sick is something I do not wish upon anyone.
Big J completely delivered. The strawberry milkshake was great and the burger was just perfect. I got Ricky’s burger, which was their style of a “hot mexican” burger. The sauce was more like chimichurri. It had jalapeños and pineapple (who knew it would be a great combination). Well, the meal made me happy and was extremely satisfying.
Now it is monday, and back to school. oh weekend, come back please.

Parc Guell.
I actually got up this morning and went out and did something tourist-y. The climb up was exhausting. We took the side road into the park and well the climb was steep but well worth it. The view was amazing and the air was fresh (as fresh as city air gets). The weather was breezy and sunny. Just perfect.
Parc Guell was beautiful. A lot smaller than I had imagined but still so full art. Gaudi is really amazing. You can see how much attention he payed to detail. His little intricate pieces all over the place. I really wonder how this man got so inspired. If you ever have time, I recommend reading up on him and all the architecture he did. He said that God was his main inspiration and his muse, and you can definitely see it in all his projects.
